Eligibility Criteria

Startup should have at a beta product or service.

Shared Office Access

Radi is Co-Founder and Director of Arabreneur and Vice President Business Development at MENA Apps since 2012. In his role he manages the USAID Compete entrepreneurship and innovation project Arabreneur in the Palestinian Territories through the creation of an Angel Investor/Seed Fund. The Arabreneur fund is unique because it supports young Palestinian entrepreneurs to grow startups, spurring employment and fostering an environment of creativity. Arabreneur is a project that was initiated by MENA Apps, a Amman based accelerator that provides similar services as Arabreneur to 15 Jordanian startups. Mena Apps has offices in Amman and Dubai Radi is responsible for the technical and financial due-diligence of the early stage investments and daily operations of the fund, co-working space and the technical assistance of both Arabreneur and MENA Apps. Additionally, he mentors entrepreneurs on business development, marketing, sales, organization development and leadership as well as supporting entrepreneurs with access to companies and investors. He also manages the partnerships development with regional and international incubators, accelerators, mentor, angel networks and VCs. Radi has 18 years experience in the international ICT industry where he held various positions in the field of Product Development, Technology Roadmaps, Business Strategy, Marketing & Business Development. Before joining Arabreneur, Radi worked with major telecom operators in the MENA region like Zain and Paltel Group. At Zain, he held the positions of Business Marketing Director and Data Strategy Director, where he transformed Zain from a mobile only to integrated operator. In this role he developed and market Zain’s enterprise products and services, like connectivity, managed security and cloud computing. At Palestinian Telecom Group, Radi held the position of Marketing Director for both Paltel Group as well as Paltel’s fixed line operations. Outside the Middle East, Radi has held various Product management and Business Development roles at AT&T, Lucent Technologies and Alcatel-Lucent Europe Middle East and Africa. During his career he was involved in numerous projects where he advised and implemented next generation services transformation strategies for major operators like Vodafone, Orange, T-Mobile, KPN and Telefonica. Radi has a MSc. in Applied Physics from Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands.
